An Awards ceremony was held on October 31st, 2013 for the companies in the city of Isesaki that contributed to the growth of local economy. Ogura Clutch was recognized again this year for its continued business of automobile air conditioning clutch related parts with Sansen, Co. and Marunaka, Ltd. located in the city of Isesaki. As a manufacturing company, Ogura Clutch is dedicated to continuing its contribution to the growth of the industries in the city of Isesaki.

　Tokyo Auto Salon 2013 was held between January 11th and 13th 2013.Two of the same brands from last year, new products and car displays were exhibited at the show.We newly introduced“Clutch for TOYOTA 86/SUBARU BRZ”as a main feature this year.Also,“Pull System Clutch for TOYOTA”,“Metal Single Clutch for L Model engine”and“SE series clutch”were displayed.These products attracted much attention from visitors.
　ARUGOS an import automobile brand,“400Light Clutch for BMW 318i”was exhibited to emphasize our development of brand new products.
　Our booth was much busier than last year and the show ended with great success.Thank you very much for stopping by our booth and supporting us during the show.

　Ogura clutch made a presentation to ” the mechanical components & materials technology expo with the 17th time ” which was hosted at Tokyo Big Sight on the 21st from June 19th in 2013. 
　Ogura showcased it’s a new line-up of tension control units, new powder clutch, OPC-N/A released in April 2013, flip flop clutch/brake, energy saving micro electromagnetic brake and other products at 7th M-Tech show. In addition to new products, Ogura also exhibited demonstration machine to illustrate the function of its products.

One of Ogura subsidiaries in the US, Ogura Corporation (OC) recently received the highest honor from Ford Motor Company–World Excellence Gold Award. Based on the performance in 2012, Ford recognized 47 best suppliers, and among them, top 5% (Quality, Delivery and Cost) was awarded Gold. 
　Ogura supplies component parts of differential locking apparatus for their pickup truck. These parts were manufactured at Ogura plant in China (OCD) and assembled at OC. Currently 150 thousand pieces are made annually, but the plan is to expand this production to 550 thousand pieces.

　On June 13th, 2013, a chapter of the General Incorporated Association in Gunma Prefecture awarded Ogura Clutch president, Yasuhiro Ogura a commendation for his years of distinguished services for development and strengthening of the organization. Ogura Clutch will continue its contribution to development of Gunma Prefecture and its industries.

　Ogura as a company continues not only its commitments to engage in the local community but also contributions in the effort toward industrial development in Gunma Prefecture.

　The 10th Guangzhou International Automotive Air-Conditioning & Cold Chain Technology Exhibition China 2013 was held between March 10th and 12th. Our office in China, Ogura Clutch (Dong Guan) CO., LTD. participated in the show and they got favorable review from visitors. 
　We appreciate your visits and will utilize all your comments and advice gathered during the exhibition.

The 8th Isesaki Industry Contributor Award Ceremony was held on November 5th.
　Our company was awarded best contributor this year again.The main reason we got the great review is that Ogura has continuously ordered parts for clutches related to automotive air conditioning from Sansen Co. ltd. and Marunaka Ltd.
　We were able to see and collaborate with many companies at the party following the ceremony. We will continue to contribute to the further development of Isesaki Industry.

　In November 13th, Mr. Masami Kawauchi has received the 2012 Social Education Award from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. 
　This award was for his long-time commitment to the social education/activities and his support of these related groups and organizations. 
　We will continuously support and participate in local activities in this field.

　The engineering department of Nippon University presented us with a letter of appreciation on November 19th.This was for our long time commitment to provide summer internship programs (production) to their students.
　We have given students opportunities to experience the actual working environment and hope to assist them in the future.

　In October 29th, Toyota COMS was introduced as company cars (single-seater electric vehicle) for the purpose of being more environmentally friendly. The speed of this model is around 50 km per hour. It can be simply plugged into a standard electrical outlet in any home and it takes approximately six hours to fully charge it. 　Benefits of using these fully electric vehicles are non-CO2 emissions as well as cost saving (only around 2.4 yen per 1 km). 　We continue to be proactive in our efforts to create eco-friendly environment for our society.
